Shop guilt free with eShopGiver

eShopGiver was recently featured on Get Sydney! Here is what they had to say about us:

18 months on from the hugely successful launch of TravelGiver, founder Kimi Anderson, is celebrating the success of eShopGiver, the sister site to TravelGiver. The new site, eShopGiver, exists as a platform for socially conscious shoppers, and was launched late last year, just in time for the Christmas rush.

eShopGiver allows shoppers to donate up to 25% of their purchases to community projects worldwide at no extra cost.

Using eShopGiver is really simple. Users simply log on and browse the various shopping categories and partners. eShopGiver has partnered with over 250 well-known Australian and International brands including ASOS, Bonds, L’Occitane en Provence, Coles, Rebel Sport, and General Pants, giving shoppers access to a greater range of shopping partners in a wide range of categories. eShopGiver makes online shopping really easy, by allowing users to browse various categories including babies & toddlers, food & drink, clothing & fashion, health & beauty, electronics, sports & fitness and gifts.

When making a purchase from any of eShopGiver’s partners, a percentage of the item cost is donated automatically to a community project, at no extra cost. There are over 300 community projects to choose from, with projects ranging from providing education for children in rural areas of Cambodia to preserving and restoring rainforests in Sumatra for orangutans and other critically endangered species, to fighting cancer with the Cancer Council NSW.

eShopGiver is the sister site to the already highly successful TravelGiver, which works in the same way, but with travel booking partners instead of retail brands. Since it’s official launch in August 2013, TravelGiver has helped hundreds of travellers book everything from local flights to international holidays and has expanded from forty projects in 4 countries to over 300 in 50 countries, giving travellers a greater choice of where their money goes.

Both eShopGiver and TravelGiver are the brainchild of entrepreneur Kimi Anderson. A keen traveller with a passion for philanthropy, Anderson spent the last twelve years working in the hospitality and tourism industry for global brands including Best Western Australasia, before deciding to set up her own business to combine her love of travel and giving.

Anderson explains: “When I set up TravelGiver a year ago, my aim was to use my business experience and skills to help community projects around the world to raise awareness and generate much needed funds. By extending this to shopping, we can help to raise even more funds for these projects and it’s as simple as a click of a mouse to give to worthy causes.”
