The Nawaya Network empowers disadvantaged youth by developing their talents and passions as a way out of poverty. Via an interactive online platform, we connect youth to mentors, trainers, classes, funding, and material needs to further develop their skills. We believe that by encouraging youth to focus on their passions, they will be less likely to turn to violence, crime, or drugs. In the process, they'll develop greater self-confidence, a greater sense of self-worth, and will learn important life skills such as teamwork, respect for diversity, and communication. Over time, as youth develop their skills, we'll be able to connect them to internships and job opportunities. Check out www.nawaya.org for a closer look!

A mere $5 is often what prevents talented, promising youth from attending a class they are passionate about and developing their skills. Without the means to pay for transportation to get to class, the youth is either stuck at home feeling bored and depressed, or spends his/her time on the street being exposed to unhealthy activities and behavior.

Our office can be visited any time during the year on weekdays (Mon - Fri) between 11am - 4pm. It is located in the Hamra district, and takes about 20 minutes from the airport depending on traffic. Please call +961 1 739 987 or email [email protected] if you are interested in arranging a visit.
